REVIVE is a follow-up to the groundbreaking documentary Fearless. Following director Maura Smith, this film documents the crisis of faith among Catholic high school students and investigates what impact signs, wonders and healings could have in Catholic education. REVIVE does something unprecedented: it captures and documents a live healing evangelization event at a major Catholic high school. The event, led by Encounter Ministries, was filmed along with extensive follow-up investigation and interviews with students and faculty. The results of this event were nothing less than an overwhelming display of God’s supernatural power and love invading the school community, leaving it radically changed.
As Catholic high schools seek to educate in a culture of more pervasive doubt and skepticism than ever before, this film makes a powerful case and provides practical strategies for Catholic schools to partner with Jesus in preaching the Gospel while giving the Holy Spirit an opportunity to confirm that message through supernatural signs.

A Game Changer for Catholic Evangelism
Awesome. I’m not sure I have other words to describe the feeling this movie documentary left me with. I remember listen the intro reaction of students about their philosophical misgivings about God and Christianity though they were in a Catholic Church, I thought to myself, these questions could be easily tackled with some good Christian apologetic. But nope, the movie didn’t take the apologetic route. It took an unusual path which has left me a bit shaken. I want more of Jesus’ Spirit, More of these experiences in evangelism! This is a game changer for Christian evangelism and Christian discipleship! Absolutely!
I only wish that the documentary would have been longer!
An instrument of Hope!
This video is powerful, it has an effect on people from a wide range of faith backgrounds – or no faith background at all. It is compelling because it’s relatable to a wide audience and shows what The Lord is doing in our midst today. I keep finding more and more ways to share this and distribute copies of Revive. I think I need to order a case of them at this point. Bravo to the team who put this together, and double bravo to Encounter Ministries! It is beginning to bear much fruit here in Maryland and in the greater Washington D.C. area. I have a heart bursting with love for all of you and what you’re doing! ?
Very good. Showing it to the kids (grade school). They want more of God. So do I out here. Native Americans “get” the mystical aspect of reality. This is out on the reservation, Catholic school.
I think the guys did great. However, I would sincerely have liked to see women leaders on stage leading the students, as well. I hope that we can speak better to the minorities in our culture by having more Catholic Native Americans, Hispanic, Asian, African-American living out the power of the Holy Spirit.
Please do not share my email address or quote this to the public. Thanks so much for all you are doing.
I found the documentary Revive very interesting. The faith and miracles displayed energizes me with the Holy Spirit, it made me want to go and pass the good news and lay hands on people. It did renew my faith. I wish we had a group here In Kansas City like Encounter Ministries.
Society has been asking so much of our children as they grow up in areas of academics, sports, social events, etc. Everything except in the area of faith in God. Add to this the social chaos going on in broken families and sexual confusion and it is understandable why there is an increase in anxiety and depression in our young. By not helping them grow in their relationship with God, we have left them unmoored. This documentary shows the hunger and openness high school kids have when they encounter the Love and Power of God. My prayer that this will happen in all of our Catholic high schools! Come, Holy Spirit, and renew the face of the earth!
